What is a Senior Week Pass?
A Senior Week Pass is your admission pass for multiple Senior Week events. Seniors who purchase a Senior Week Pass receive significantly discounted prices compared to purchasing tickets for individual events at the door. Pass holders are also the only ones who receive a Senior Week t-shirt.
For 2008, a Senior Week Pass includes:
- Kick-Off Party
- Dueling Piano Bar and Entertainment Lounge
- Senior Splash
- Semi-Formal
- Brunch
- $15 coupon to be used toward a Lake Cruise or a Wine Tour
Your Senior Week Pass also allows you to purchase one guest ticket to the Semi-Formal.
Events not included directly on the pass (Lake Cruises, Wine Tours, Semi-Formal guest tickets) must be purchased individually during sales week only. Due to capacity limitations, tickets for these events will not be on sale at the door.
Senior Week Passes will be on sale the week of April 14-18 ONLY.
How much does a Senior Week Pass cost?
The Senior Week Pass cost has not yet been determined, but you will receive a 50% discount on your Senior Week Pass if you have a Senior Card. Prices will be announced on the Senior Class website, posters, Intercom and other media outlets very shortly.
To receive the Senior Card holder discount, you must purchase a Senior Card before March 31st (available in the Student Activities Center Monday-Thursday 11am-1pm).
Will you sell out of Senior Week Passes?
Due to capacity limitations, we can only sell 450 Senior Week Passes. Passes are available during sales week on a first-come/first-serve basis. You are not guaranteed a Senior Week Pass, so come to sales early.
What tickets can I purchase individually if I don’t want a Senior Week Pass?
If you do not purchase a Senior Week Pass, the only tickets you can purchase individually in advance are:
- Lake Cruises
- Wine Tours
The following can be purchased individually at the door the day of the event:
- Kick-Off Party
- Dueling Piano and Entertainment Lounge
- Senior Splash
- Brunch
Please note that tickets at the door will be sold at a significantly higher price than the per-event cost with the Senior Week Pass.
The Commencement Eve Fireworks and refreshments are free and open to everyone and their families.
Can I buy a Semi-Formal ticket without purchasing a Senior Week Pass?
Senior Week Pass holders have first access to Semi-Formal tickets. You cannot buy an individual Semi-Formal ticket or guest ticket during sales week unless you purchase a Senior Week Pass. Any leftover Semi-Formal tickets will become available to non-Pass holders the week after sales on a first-come/first-serve basis. These tickets will be sold from the Student Activities Center from 10am-5pm on Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23 or until they sell out.
When will Senior Week Passes and tickets be available for purchase?
Passes will be sold April 14 – April 18 in the McDonald Lounge in Campus Center, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Information about ticket sales will be posted on the Senior Class website, advertised in The Ithacan, emailed to the list-serve, and posted on campus bulletin boards.
What do I need to bring to sales?
In order to purchase tickets, you must have:
- Ithaca College ID
- Senior Card (if you have one)
- Cash or check payable to Ithaca College
- Completed sales form (available at sales or online, with or without Senior Card)
- Signed participation agreement (available at sales or online)
How do I make sure I get on the same Lake Cruise or Wine Tour as my friends?
Spots on the Lake Cruises or Wine Tours are available on a first-come/first-serve basis. Groups of friends who wish to go on a Lake Cruise or Wine Tour together are encouraged to come to sales as a group to ensure everyone can get on the same trip. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, so be sure to agree on a Lake Cruise or Wine Tour in advance!
Can someone else use my Senior Card to get the discount?
Only the person who purchased the Senior Card can use it to purchase a Senior Week Pass or tickets to individual events. You cannot use someone else’s Senior Card – so buy your own Senior Card before sales end on March 31st (available in the Student Activities Center Monday-Thursday 11am-1pm).
How many Senior Week Passes can I buy?
Each senior can only purchase one Senior Week Pass. Senior Card holders can only use the discount once (you cannot share your Senior Card with a friend to both receive the discount).
Can I have a friend buy my Senior Week Pass and tickets?
No. Every senior wishing to purchase a Senior Week Pass must come to sales in person and present valid Ithaca College identification. Only students who are not currently studying on campus or December graduates can have a friend purchase tickets through the proxy sales process (see below.)
Can December graduates or seniors who are currently studying off-campus participate in Senior Week?
Yes. December graduates or seniors who are studying off-campus for the Spring 2008 semester can purchase tickets through a student proxy (usually a friend). These students need to email icseniorweek@gmail.com to notify the Senior Week Committee who will be serving as his or her proxy and purchasing tickets on his or her behalf.
What if I’m a senior and I’m not 21?
Seniors who are not 21 are able to participate in Senior Week events. These seniors must meet with Deb Mohlenhoff, the Senior Class advisor, prior to purchasing tickets.
Who can attend Senior Week events?
All Ithaca College seniors are welcome at all Senior Week events. Seniors who are under 21 must meet with Deb Mohlenhoff, Senior Class advisor, before attending any events. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to consume alcohol and all Ithaca College, local, state, and federal laws and regulations still apply.
Due to capacity limitations, non-senior guests are not permitted to attend Lake Cruises or Wine Tours.
Guests attending the Semi-Formal must be 21 and must have a ticket (see “Can I buy a Semi-Formal ticket...” above).
What if my guest is not 21?
No one under the age of 21 is permitted to attend any Senior Week event (with exception to the Commencement Eve Fireworks) unless they are an Ithaca College graduating senior with written approval from Deb Mohlenhoff, Senior Class advisor. Semi-Formal guests must be 21.
When will the Senior Class Slide Show be presented?
The slide show, a collection of photos submitted by members of the Senior Class, will be presented at the Dueling Piano Bar event on Tuesday, May 13. Seniors can submit up to 15 photos to icseniorweek@gmail.com through Thursday, April 26.
Can I get a refund?
No. All sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred. All events have a limited capacity and Ithaca College must follow local and state regulations regarding the number of people at an event at any given time.
