Course Objectives:

To promote understanding of the use of technology within the realm of physical activity and health.
- To integrate computer skills, instructional design, and disciplinary content effectively to accomplish professional objectives.
- To provide students with an opportunity to gain proficiency in the use of web-based programs and assessment as a means to deliver instruction and a vehicle for professional development.
- To discuss ethical and social issues related to the use of technology in the physical activity and health fields.
- To develop and explore the use of portfolios as a vehicle for self-reflection and growth beyond specific disciplinary boundaries.
