Using the skills you have learned in MS Publisher, design a 6-8 panel brochure about a topic related to health, wellness, coaching, therapeutic recreation, leisure services, or physical education.The purpose of the brochure should be informational, designed to provide information to the general public about a specific topic. After reading the brochure, the person could call a resource individual or agency for additional information. Before beginning, read this short abstract on the potential of brochures to enhance health and health behaviors.

In constructing your brochure ....

• make it attractive and inviting to read
• be clear about the contents and reflect the major focus in the title and subtitles
• follow suggestions in Publisher regarding the placement of information
• use a consistent color scheme and fonts
• check for grammar and spelling
• think carefully about the use of white space and how it encourages readability.
• provide information on where to seek additional information, resources or asssistance.

Once you have completed your assignments in Publisher, convert it to a .pdf and submit it electronically. In the assignment box, write a short reflection on using the design principles in your brochure design. Also be sure to indicate who is the audience for your brochure.
