The purpose of the IC Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is to facilitate and enhance professional development in choral singing, education, and conducting through: · Lectures, seminars, workshops, and discussions to supplement knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom · Networking members with those of other collegiate chapters and professionals at all levels · Providing forums for future choral directors to practice and refine skills needed on the podium Membership is open to all students interested in choral conducting, singing, and education through choral music. The IC Chapter of the American Choral Directors’ Association does not and will not discriminate with regard to race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation. Our chapter advisor is Dr. Janet Galván, professor of music.
