Greetings, members!

We hope that as you are reading this, you are enjoying your time off on
winter break.  We write with some great news regarding our student
chapter, if you have not already heard it through the grapevine:

-Virginia Creary and David Cruz auditioned and have been selected to sing
in the ACDA Miami National Convention Multicultural Honor Choir (say that
5 times fast.)  Congratulations!

-Rebecca Cole has been selected as one of 8 semi-finalists to compete in
the National Student Conducting Competition at the same convention.

-Our student chapter at Ithaca College has received the Outstanding
Student Chapter of the Year Award for our work and growth in the past two
years.  We will be recognized at the convention in March as well.

Thanks to all of you, our great members, for helping our colleagues and
our chapter to reach this level of success!  We hope you'll continue to
join us in our upcoming events, the first of which will be our
Multicultural Workshop with Dr. Galvan on January 30th.
