Alternative Text Format
Electronic text, also known as e-text, is any material that is useable by computers.
Publishers are now required to provide electronic files of textbooks and related materials to college
and universities.
Upon receiving the electronic file, the Office of Academic Support Services will work with the student
to arrange the appropriate media output in a way that will cater to the student’s needs.
Forms of this could be Braille, audio recordings, enlarged print, or electronically read text
material.
Please note - Materials in alternate format must be a specified accommodation for you
to use this service.
If you know the names of your texts, please click on this link to request it in an alternate
format.
