Program Requirements
ACTEC has organized a college-wide assessment plan arranged by distinct transition points for education students progressing through all initial certification and advanced programs as outlined below. The coursework and requirements included in this plan and necessary for completion of each education program degree is described in detail in the Ithaca College Undergraduate Catalog and Graduate Catalog. Initial Certification candidates are also expected to meet professional qualities and dispositions expectations in order to begin and successfully complete their student teaching or externship. The professional qualities and dispositions that are evaluated are provided to candidates, faculty, cooperative teachers and are posted in the documents file on this site.
