Frequently Asked Questions

Which student groups focus on international students?

Your main resource will be the Ithaca College International Club (ICIC), which is committed to support and foster the international community at Ithaca College.

In addition, the College's Office of International Programs (OIP) provides a comprehensive orientation for international students and arranges special programs and workshops.

OIP also encourages international students to join other clubs or to start their own. Quite a few of our 200+ student organizations have an international flavor -- for example, the African Student Association; African-Latino Society; Allora! Italian Culture and Language Club; Arabic Club (Al-Nadi al-Arabi); Caribbean Student Association; Chinese Student Association; Cultural Connections Club; Damhsa, Ceol agus Craic (Irish culture club); European Club; French Connection; IC Asian American Alliance; IC Muevete Dance Co.; IC Spanish Club; Islamic Society of Ithaca College; Mauya (African Culture Club); and PODER (Latin Student Association).

In addition to the clubs, there are very active faith communities on campus, including Chabad Jewish Center; Hillel; IC Buddhist Community; IC Catholic Community; and IC Protestant Community.
