Going global on campus
Before you settle on any college, make sure it strives for a diverse mix of cultures and ideas.
After all, college is about learning how to make your way in the world -- the whole world, not just a little piece of it.
So be sure to ask about multicultural learning opportunities, clubs and activities, housing, and academic services.
Ithaca students represent nearly every state and more than sixty countries and territories, so it should come as no surprise that IC values and embraces diversity.
Here you'll find multicultural clubs and activities, including the African-Latino Society, Asian Culture Club, Amani Gospel Singers, Native American Cultural Club, International Club, Kuumba Repertory Theater, and more.
Plus, our Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs sponsors theme months celebrating Latino/a Heritage, Native American Heritage, Black History and Asian Heritage, while our Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity presents a variety of courses and events designed to engage the entire Ithaca community in active cultural exchange.
We also offer extensive academic and support services, a variety of housing options, special international programs, and scholarships for Ithaca students from all backgrounds.
