College Planning Guide

How to Make the Most of a Campus Visit

When you come to Ithaca College, you'll not only receive a guided tour of our campus but also have the opportunity to talk with our students, faculty, and staff. Here are some of the choices you have when visiting us:

Campus tour. Our student tour guides will give you an inside look at the campus and its facilities. Specialty tours are also offered for the School of Business, Park School of Communications, and School of Music.

Admission presentations. Offered on select days throughout the year, an admission counselor will offer a brief overview of the college, application process, and answer any general questions you may have about applying.

Open house. Each fall we offer weekday and Saturday programs that include facility tours, small-group discussions, and academic presentations.

Personal appointment. An interview is not required for admission to Ithaca, but a personal appointment with an admission counselor is encouraged. It's a terrific way to get to know more about the College and for you to show us what qualities you'll bring to our campus.

Appointments with faculty. Our professors can answer your questions about specific programs or majors.

Regional information sessions. Info sessions are held in cities around the country. This is a great chance to get introduced to Ithaca right in your own neighborhood.

Tour the campus online. If you can't stop by in person right away, you can get a sneak peek at the College with our online tour.
