Interdisciplinary Studies

Interdisciplinary studies programs at Ithaca allow students to draw on the expertise of faculty from across the College and allow faculty to cross academic boundaries to better develop an integrated understanding of and approach to issues facing the larger global community. Students benefit from the multiple perspectives and scholastic models, drawn from across the academic spectrum, used to analyze and understand complex real-world problems, such as war, famine, environmental damage, and poverty.

Not bound to any one traditional discipline, these programs challenge students to open their minds and pursue knowledge from several different angles, including international study.
