Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC)

The Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) is an officer commissioning program designed as a college elective that focuses on leadership development, management skills, ethics, and strategic planning. Students do not join the military by enrolling in ROTC courses; however, those who complete the ROTC program become commissioned officers.

Ithaca College is under agreement with Cornell University for students who wish to enroll in one of two ROTC programs:

  • the U.S. Army ROTC
  • U.S. Air Force ROTC

In order to receive credit on the Ithaca College official transcript, an official transcript must be received from Cornell University with the ROTC courses and grades achieved.  Kasey Huddle is the contact in the Office of the Registrar that enters this information on the Ithaca College transcript.  Kasey can be reached by phone at 607-274-3817 or khuddle@ithaca.edu.

Scholarships are available to qualified applicants.
