Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC)
The Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) is an officer commissioning program designed as a college elective that focuses on leadership development, management skills, ethics, and strategic planning. Students do not join the military by enrolling in ROTC courses; however, those who complete the ROTC program become commissioned officers.
Ithaca College is under agreement with Cornell University for students who wish to enroll in one of two ROTC programs:
- the U.S. Army ROTC
- U.S. Air Force ROTC
In order to receive credit on the Ithaca College official transcript, an official transcript must be received from Cornell University with the ROTC courses and grades achieved.
