                                                      March 31-April 30

Purpose:

The Bronze group will work on developing competitive swimming skills such as stroke technique, starts and turns and will introduce swimmers to interval training. No competitive experience is necessary but participants must have basic swimming skills that will allow them to keep moving in the water for an hour. We will be working to give kids the skills they will need to move up to the silver group and consider joining the competitive team, Swim Ithaca.

Staff:

This clinic is a fundraising event and sponsored by the Ithaca College Men’s Swim Team. Ithaca College coaches and swimmers will conduct and supervise all training sessions.

Location:

The clinic will be conducted in the Athletic and Events Center Aquatics Pavilion on the campus of Ithaca College.

Sessions:

The clinic will be held twice per week on Monday and Wednesday from  6  to 7 pm.

            March 31st to April 30th

We are doing M/W as some parents have kids in the silver program and this will be

easier for them. If M/W is a problem, it may be possible to do a Tue/Thur session.

It will depend on being able to get a coach. Please contact Kevin

Note: If you are looking for swim lessons, the Ithaca College Women’s team offers swimming lessons with one on one instruction. The program will run on 4 Saturdays, March 29, April 5, 12, 26. at  10:30 or 11:30. Cost for the 4 sessions is $70.
