The Assistant Director for First Year Academic Services will focus on providing academic support services to all first year students, with a special focus on those students living in the three first year residence halls (Boothroyd, Rowland, Tallcott). The Assistant Director is available to meet with any first year student to strategize about how to utilize academic support resources at IC, achieve his/her goals, and be successful academically. Students living in the three first year residence halls will have access to free professional tutoring, academic workshops, an early intervention program, and individualized academic success plans. We coordinate our efforts and services with other College departments, faculty and programs in order to ensure students receive a comprehensive set of services.
First year students should contact Beth Howland or stop by and visit the AES Office in the Towers Concourse.
