FAQs about AES Learning Skills Support:
- Learning skills support is not a quick solution to academic problems. It does not replace regular class attendance; attending professors’ or teaching assistants’ office hours; or genuine interest in building the collegiate level skills and proficiencies critical to academic success in college.
- Improving one’s learning skills requires a time commitment. Students should plan for a minimum of three ½ hour to 1 hour appointments with the Learning Skills Consultant. Some students will need to meet on a regular basis (e.g. weekly) for the entire semester.
- All students are seen by appointment based on the available appointment times each semester. Unfortunately, the Learning Skills Consultant is not available for DROP IN or LAST MINUTE assistance.
