Many departments at Ithaca College offer tutoring or other assistance for specific courses. Students should always talk first with their instructor about academic support resources (including tutoring, help rooms, review sessions, etc.). The School of Humanities and Sciences maintains a list each semester of tutoring offered by various departments within H&S. Please find the fall 2007 tutor listing for H & S as well information about tutoring for other specific courses (EXSS, ACCTNG, etc.) in the "Documents" folder on this AES website.
AES offers free tutoring to all HEOP, CSTEP and ALANA (African American, Latino, Asian and Native American) students by professional academic consultants in many subject areas including writing, math, economics, chemistry, biology, communications and Spanish. We also provide assistance in study strategies including time management and test taking skills, as well as support in ESOL.
The AES Tutorial Center, located in the Towers Concourse, is a place where students can feel free to receive individual and group tutoring. Tutoring sessions are available on a one-time basis or can be reoccurring. Tutorial arrangements are flexible to accommodate demanding student schedules To receive tutorial services, click on the link below. Want more information?
