Managing Cost

A quality college education is an investment in a student’s future, but no one needs to make that investment alone. At Ithaca College, we partner with families to invest in the future of our students. The typical adult with a bachelor’s degree will earn over half a million dollars more than a high school graduate over the course of his or her career—and the added earnings of a degree far outweigh the cost of attending college.

Each year, we devote over 100 million dollars of institutional financial aid to recognize the academic accomplishments of our students and help bridge the financial gap for families in need. We have also worked to reduce the rate of tuition and fee increases that are applied each year. These rates, which once topped six percent annually, have decreased in each of the past five years. Our plans call for tuition increases that continually decline and more closely parallel the rate of inflation.
