Client Name: Andy Davies
Problems: Inarticulate verbalizations
Mr. Hansen left his denture in during his abdominal
surgery because he did not want to inconvenience the doctors and nurses.
During the surgery he ground his dentures down from the pain he was
experiencing. This could cause problems pertaining to Speech/Language
Pathology if the proper measures are not taken:
- Improper
chewing can result in swallowing problems (Dysphagia and/or choking)
- Poor
dental care can cause problems with articulation, if not taken care of
within the proper amount of time
This particular client does not present with a demand
for my services. I do not see any problems that I can assist with.
