Ithaca College Community and Local Alumni
Some Ithaca College graduates liked it here so much they decided to stay.
Over 175 alumni are currently employed by the College. They can be found in diverse roles in a variety of departments across campus. They share the unique experience of Ithaca College, not only as employees, but as past students and current alumni.
In 1998 a number of these alumni gathered to discuss whether they might be able to contribute to the spirit of community at Ithaca College. The response was enthusiastic, and Ithaca College Community and Local Alumni (ICCALA) was formed.
Since then ICCALA's members have invested a lot of time and energy in campus events. They've assisted with Network Nights, all-campus career fairs, the Convocation picnic, the Celebration of Service, and other special events. One of their annual traditions is welcoming graduating seniors at Commencement to the alumni community.
