Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow shall promote further student involvement in the College community by building traditions, seeking links between students and alumni, and encouraging pride and loyalty within the Ithaca College family.
The student alumni association, Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow, promotes the relationship between current students and alumni. Under the guidance of the Office of Alumni Relations and the Ithaca College Alumni Association, STAT offers students the chance to meet and work with classmates and alumni to foster pride in IC as well as a lifelong commitment to the College.
Any student can join STAT. For more information, contact Lynne Pierce, STAT's adviser, at lpierce@ithaca.edu or 607-274-1396, or get in touch with one of STAT's officers.
Every year STAT members volunteer for a project in the Ithaca area. Past projects have included cleaning up the grounds at local elementary schools, helping improve neighborhood housing, and volunteering at the New York Special Olympics.
STAT members can attend an annual district conference with other college and university student alumni groups. There they can network, exchange ideas on strengthening the link between students and alumni, and have fun.
