Presentation Guidelines
Presentation: Thursday, 18 December, 7:30 AM.
Guidelines. Your presentation should describe the web site that you
have produced and should highlight the unique aspects of the site. The presentation
should be about 10 minutes. Note that your web site does not have to be completed,
but you must have at least a draft of the main page available for the presentation.
Specific points that you should address include:
- You must demonstrate a feature on your web page and show how you can trace
this feature back through the specifications, flow chart, planning chart,
to your goal statement.
- You must present your high level flow chart and demonstrate how your web site
follows the chart.
- You must describe the javaScript used in your web pages. You do not have to
show every line of javaScript, but should give a good representation of the types
of javascript used and how it works. Highlight anything novel or complex.
- You must describe all the server-side scripts that you use in your site. Again,
you do not have to explain every line of every script, but should give (and explain)
a representation of your scripts. Highlight anything novel or complex.
- Make sure that you describe particularly difficult problems that you had to overcome
in the design and implementation of your site.
