Project Part 4
Due: 28 November
Overview. For this part of the project, you are
to develop the "look-and-feel" of your web site. You are to generate
storyboards or mock-ups of the main page and all major pages in the site.
You must create a series of storyboards for your web site. You do
not have to have a storyboard to represent every page, but must have
storyboards representing all major types of pages in your site.
You must meet with your client at least once.
You are responsible for arranging the meeting. The meeting
must be to discuss the specifications and to review the planning chart
and the general and detailed flow chart. Your planning chart and flow
charts must reflect the changes that I recommended and you must discuss
these changes with your client. The storyboards must be approved by
the client.
Documents. For this part of the project you
must produce a set of storyboards that present the look-and-feel of your
web site.
- You must include a mock-up of the main page and a mock-up of
every type of page (but not every page) in your site.
Note that you are not including every page on your site, but only
representations of every type (in terms of appearance) of page in your
site. The storyboards do not have to be the final version of the pages;
the client may request changes before the final project is done.
- Be sure to include
examples of all logos, color patterns, menu-bars, etc. in your storyboards.
- You may print off prototype web pages for your storyboard or you may
create examples in a drawing program or you may draw the storyboard by
hand. In any case, the storyboard must reflect the actual design of
the web page and must be in color. Hand drawings must be carefully
and professionally done so that the client can clearly percieve what the
final page(s) will look like.
- Your document must have a cover page that contains
the name of the
project, the contact person for the project and the your names.
- You must include all past projects in the packet that you turn in.
All past projects must be
updated to include any changes that you have made.
- These storyboards must be signed and
dated by both you and the
client and turned in to me by the due date.
