Announcements
-
- Exam 2 will take place Thursday, 15 November at 6-8 PM. It
will be open book.
- The program in problem set 6 must meet all of the conditions
in the Program Format Guide .
- When you turn in your program to the server, do not include
unecessary files that are not needed to run your program in
the JDK (do include the html files from javaDoc, however).
For example, files that end with the extension
"jpx" are only necessary for running jBuilder, so don't turn
them in. Also, do not nest your programs in sub-directories unless
you are placing them in packages.
- Note that the program format guidence has changed slightly.
Starting with problem set 3, you must include a test plan
(in a README.txt document) that explains your test data.
See the Program Format Guide
for details.
- Note that you should turn in problem set 2 to the ps2
directory, not the ps1 directory on the class server.
- Some instructions on running a program that is in a package
and contains a reference to the "Comparable" interface is
located here.
-
Documentation from Sun (the creator of Java) on the
Comparable class is here.
Look in the "All Classes" frame on the left.
