(R) Biology Department requirement beyond those required for admission to Optometry School.

Ithaca College requires each student to complete a number of hours of General Education courses beyond the major requirements. In addition, each student must be certified in writing competence.

27 additional semester hours credit, including 6-8 hours of biological science, will still be needed for a BA from Ithaca College after the above requirements have been completed. These requirements can be filled by taking the credits shown on the web page in the fourth year while at PCO or NYCO.

(1 quarter hour = 0.67 semester hours).
