(R) Biology Department requirement beyond those required for admission to Optometry School.

 Ithaca College requires each student to complete an number of hours of General Education courses beyond the major requirements. In addition, each student must be certified in writing competence.

24 additional semester hours credit, including 6-8 hours of biological science, will still be need for a BA from Ithaca College after the above requirements have been completed. These requirements can be filled by taking the credits shown below in the fourth year while at PCO or NYCO.

(1 quarter hour = 0.67 semester hours).


PENNSYLVANIA COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY

 Courses in Blue will transfer to Ithaca College and fill requirements for the Biology Major

 Courses in Green will transfer to Ithaca College to fill the 120 credits required for graduation.

 Courses in Purple are professional courses which will not count toward the Bachelor=s degree at IC.
