Who is eligible to purchase?

The Faculty/Staff Licensing and Media program for Adobe Contractual Licensing Program (CLP) software products provides a significant price reduction to Faculty/Staff for personal use and they may not resell or distribute the product. The majority of the CLP eligible products are in the ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 4 product line, but not limited to that line. For example, also available are Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Professional and more.

This software may be purchased by "current Ithaca College Faculty/Staff" for personal use. Faculty/Staff may only purchase (1) copy of a particular product within a 12-month period. The software may not be purchased using institutional funds and/or for departmental use; therefore, the software is subject to sales tax. A separate Adobe Contractual Licensing Program (CLP) pricing program is provided for Ithaca College Department needs. • All purchases must be made in person at the Ithaca College Bookstore. A "Resale Registration" form is required to be completed and signed at the time of purchase. All sales will have sales tax added and no further discount can be applied.
• Product can only be sold to Faculty/Staff with active and verified Ithaca College ID. The Bookstore reserves the right to check with Ithaca College to verify the Faculty/Staff member's active status.
• Faculty/Staff member is responsible for all liability of the product after purchase.
• Faculty/Staff member is responsible to purchase and verify the correct Operating System platform for their Personal Computer at time of sale. There are "NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ON CLP SOFTWARE. IT IS THE FACULTY/STAFF MEMBER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PURCHASE THE CORRECT PRODUCT AT TIME OF SALE.
• Activation of software, via a coupon code inside the software case, is required over the Internet by visiting www.adobe.studentlicensing.com .The steps are:
  1) Once the coupon code is submitted and accepted, a serial number will be issued to you via email. Print and save this email. License serial numbers will not be reissued.
  2) Before installation of your software, remove from your computer any Adobe trial or sample applications that are included in your purchased Adobe software package. Otherwise, software conflicts are likely to occur during installation.
  3) Insert the CD in your computer and follow the installation instructions.
  4) When prompted, enter the serial number provided.
  5) Keep your serial number for future reference. The Faculty/Staff member is responsible to load and activate the software on their PC. The Bookstore is not required to support any software installation. To view the example of the Instructions for Installation.
• User Documentation (printed manuals) is not included with the software.
• CLP Software is not eligible for upgrades.

The Ithaca College Bookstore Adobe CLP program is intended to supply affordable software licensing to active Faculty/Staff to enhance the Education learning experience.
