Here we see a cutaway view of the building, from the northwest side.

On the left is the heated part of the building, called the Warm Room. The left door leads to the storage room which also doubles as a dark room. The right door is the bathroom. Against the dome room wall is the lab bench which will hold the telescope control computer and the imaging computer.

In the dome room, the telescope sits on a concrete pier, about 10 feet in the air. It pivots about the geometric center of the hemispherical dome. Visual observing is done from a platform raised up about four feet from the concrete slab. The space under the platform will be used for storage. Electrical cables will be hung under this platform to connect the telescope to its control computer in the warm room. Cables to control equipment on the telescope will also be routed under the platform.
