This is to notify you that the open and close dates for the fiscal year 2010 Budget Process will be as follows:
OPEN: Wednesday, November 12, 2008
CLOSE: 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2008
Beginning on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, those of you designated as "Submitters" will be able to log into Parnassus with your IC Budget
Process responsibility to access your departmental budgets and email/print those budget worksheets for the "Reviewers". The "Reviewers" update the budget worksheets with any changes and return to you for editing and submitting the budgets in Parnassus.
Please note: the budget office is currently reviewing the budget process data in Parnassus for accuracy. Access to your departmental budgets in Parnassus should occur no sooner than Wednesday morning.
The Budget Process guide is available on the Budget Office website (www.ithaca.edu/budget).
The Budget Office is also emailing information through the HR listserv and Intercom. Carl Sgrecci's memo providing instructions and guidelines for the budget process will be available on the Budget Office website on Wednesday, so be sure to read this important information before beginning the budget process.
Remember that the forms for Capital Requests are located on the Budget Office website. These forms need to be submitted to the Budget Office after having been reviewed and approved by the Vice President for each division. The Small Equipment requests need to be submitted to your dean or vice president for approval.
