Budget Process 2012-2013

This is to notify you that the open and close dates for the fiscal year 2013 Budget Process will be as follows:

OPEN:  Monday, October 31, 2011
CLOSE:  Noon on Wednesday, December 7, 2011

Beginning on Monday, October 31, 2011, those of you designated as "Submitters" will be able to log into Parnassus with your IC Annual Budget Process responsibility to access your departmental budgets and email/print those budget worksheets for the "Reviewers".  The "Reviewers" update the budget worksheets with any changes and return the worksheets to the submitters for editing and submitting the budgets in Parnassus. End-users accessing IC Annual Budget Process or report responsibility must do so from the Parnassus homepage and not via switching responsibilities using the black tophat as you will receive an error message (same as EZ Pay).

The Budget Office will provide all information in Intercom and on their website. Carl Sgrecci's memo providing instructions and guidelines for the budget process is available on the Budget Office website, so be sure to read this important information before beginning the budget process.  The Budget Process User Guide is also available on the Budget Office website (www.ithaca.edu/budget). Budget process training and review sessions are scheduled and users can sign up through ITS Workshops.

Please be sure to review the budget process forms when submitting requests for New/Additional positions, New Initiatives, Capital Requests, Non-Salary Operating Requests and Small Equipment.  All of the forms and details are on the Budget Office website.  The process for submitting some of these requests may have changed from prior fiscal year processes so be sure to read and follow instructions.
