• How are graduate students billed?
Grads, no matter how many credits taken, are always billed per credit hour. The rate per credit for grads is dependent on the program. To see the rates click on Graduate studies Tuition and Fees. Grads must pay a $150 deposit, unless they are OT or PT.
• As part of their assistantship packages, some grads have campus employment. Are they allowed to apply this money to their account?
It depends what kind of employment the student has. Exempt positions will earn a predetermined amount of money and students in this category can sign a payroll deduction form. Non-Exempt positions are paid hourly for hours actually worked and recorded on TRFs. Students in this category cannot use payroll deduction as there is no guarantee to the amount of wages earned.
