Students from the Ithaca College chapter of the American Marketing Association (ICAMA) receive numerous honors.

At the 36th Annual American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans, ICAMA received awards for Outstanding Chapter, Outstanding Professional Development and Outstanding Communications.

On top of the association awards, three School of Business students; Kevin Turnbull '15, Hilary Jones '14 and Sarah Wooster '14, participated in and received the American Marketing Association National Role-playing and Relationship Selling Certificate. 

During the conference, students were able to attend networking events, marketing seminars, leadership forums as well as hear speakers from Coca-Cola, Hershey's, Macy's and others. "It was mind-blowing to network with over 100 universities from across the country and see the potential that Ithaca College AMA has." said Kevin Turnbuall '15. 

He continued, "This was truly an invaluable experience.  The event promotes professional growth, personal and career education and a chance to experience the diverse culture. This was all made possible thanks to your generosity and dedication to extracurricular activities.'

The American Marketing Association International Collegiate Conference brings together collegiate chapters from all over the country to participate in competitions, attend engaging sessions from top marketing professionals, and network with other AMA chapters and professionals. Chapters are also recognized for the impressive work they do all year at an awards ceremony
