American Marketing Association
The mission of the Ithaca College chapter of the American Marketing Association (ICAMA) is to be one of the leading professional student organizations on campus. We will accomplish this by acting as a direct pipeline for students entering the marketing and business sectors. Through real-world business experience, community engagement and organizational development, ICAMA will provide its members with the tools to succeed in today’s competitive media landscape.
This year, through an innovative pilot program, we have transformed ICAMA from a professional association primarily sustained by chapter dues and individual program revenue into a functioning and productive student- staffed media and marketing agency.
The agency will act as a connector between the student academic experience and the real-world business environment, generating revenue toward the long-term sustainability of the chapter. In addition to taking on new clients, we will continue to host annual events and workshops. Throughout the semester our events correlate with both the ICAMA Agency pilot program and the traditional activities of the organization. This revenue-generating agency model enhances inter-committee communication, promotes collaboration and offers real world experience to students, with a competitive fee structure for local businesses and organizations.
