Experiential Learning
Experiential Learning is:
- An opportunity to learn about different occupations in the world of business
- 1 credit hour (up to maximum of 3 credits)
Eligibility
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- Must have completed the World of Business course and the first year of college
- Must be in sophomore, junior, or senior standing
- Must have a resume
Requirements
- Review the Guidelines for Experiential Learning Proposal for Academic Credit
- Complete the Experiential Learning Preparation Checklist and Application form
- Complete an ongoing activity log (periodic summaries to be sent to faculty sponsor)
International students may be required to complete a CPT application and obtain immigration authorization before pursuing experiential learning. Please check with the Office of International Programs.
If students complete the internship for academic credit outside of fall or spring semester, they will need to pay summer or winter session fees equivalent to a 1-credit course.
