Field Work Experience

Students entering Ithaca College after fall 2008 to earn a degree in business administration will need to complete a field work experience. Students can fulfill this requirement as early as summer of their junior year through their senior year.
 
This course requires students to work a minimum of 35 hours at an off-campus organization; this is designed to give students practical work experience in their field of specialization. Students should contact the business school's Internship Program Director (internships@ithaca.edu) for registration information and application (pass/fail only; 0 credits).

Students must complete the Field Experience Agreement before beginning their 35 hours.  

Students pursuing the accounting degree are not required to do this course. An internship/taxation practicum experience is part of their degree requirement.
