Open for Business

Okay, I know, I get the award for worst blogger ever. It’s so hard to write about life when I am so busy living it!! Last time I wrote it was the week before Spring break. Well we are now almost done the week after Spring break. This just means I have more things to talk about!

My New Orleans trip is less than 2 weeks away!!! EEK!! I am getting so excited! The American Marketing Association holds its national conference in April and this year its in New Orleans. I have been to NOLA before but am super stoked to be heading back there. The city is so rich with culture that it always provides a great time. Plus the conference is going to host some awesome speakers such as the director of marketing for the NBA Miami Heat. Being a sports fan this is really excites me! Last year I went to New Orleans for Habitat for Humanity. We drove down the last week of our winter break and helped build houses for a week. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life. It feels so great to give back to the community and help out people who appreciate everything we are doing.

Last week was Spring break. Many people went away on vacation and came back with tans and stories. I chose to go home and have some down time. The semester is only half over and I needed time to recharge my battery and finish the semester strong. I also got to see my boyfriend and family which was great as well.

Getting back to my house on Sunday night and looking at all the stuff I had coming up, I got severely overwhelmed. It seems this semester that all my assignments and test fall at the same time. Next week I have two papers due and three tests! Life never slows down, but that’s okay. I take everything with stride and conquer one task at a time

Well, for now I need to get packing for the weekend. I am heading to Syracuse to celebrate Easter with my Aunt and Uncle.
