Applicants are normally admitted to the M.B.A. programs as matriculated students (degree candidates). Occasionally, students are admitted provisionally or as extramural students. Please see our basic requirements and prerequisites sections for more information.
Students who do not meet all the requirements for matriculation may be admitted provisionally on a case-by-case basis. Provisionally admitted students enroll in a maximum of 3 M.B.A. courses in the first semester and must obtain a grade of B or better in these courses. Note that provisionally admitted students do not take a full course load their first semester; therefore, they will be unable to complete the M.B.A. program in one year.
*All applicants are required to take the GMAT and have their official GMAT scores sent to the Division of Graduate Studies at Ithaca College. Information about the GMAT can be obtained from the Educational Testing Service; gmat@ets.com; www.ets.com; 800-462-8669.
