Sustainability Case Competition
The Dorothy D. and Roy H. Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise is housed in a LEED Platinum Building, where sustainability is emphasized throughout. To further highlight business and sustainability, the School of Business sponsors a Sustainability Case Competition focused on a real organization with a business and sustainability issue.
The 2013 Sustainability Case competition will focus on developing a marketing plan for the New York State Sustainability Education Working Group. The plan will focus on increasing student awareness at college campuses across New York State about sustainability, what it means and why it is important. Student teams will develop marketing plans focused on reaching college students that include strategies for analysis, planning, implementation and assessment. Three teams will win the top prizes which amount to $10,000 ($5,000 first place, $3,500 second place, $1,500 third place).
