Sustainability Case Competition
The Dorothy D. and Roy H. Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise is housed in a LEED Platinum Building, where sustainability is emphasized throughout. To further highlight business and sustainability, the School of Business is hosting a Sustainability Case Competition focused on a real organization with a business and sustainability issue. The not-for-profit Challenge organization came to the Business School with a business opportunity focused on recycling electronics, an issue of importance to the organization and also in the global marketplace.
Student teams competing in this initiative will research, analyze and make recommendations to Challenge to help the organization make its business decision. Teams will work over a period of eight weeks, turning in written recommendations. Teams will then make oral presentations to a panel of judges.
