Ithaca College Thanks Its Los Angeles Supporters
On Wednesday, February 13, 2008, approximately 50 Los Angeles–area alumni, parents, and friends gathered at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey to celebrate the success of the Campaign for Ithaca College: Making a World of Difference.
After an opening cocktail reception, LA regional committee chair David Giannotti ’69 welcomed guests and reported that Los Angeles–area donors contributed over $1.8 million to the campaign.
Shelley Semmler, Ithaca's vice president for institutional advancement, thanked the Los Angeles Regional Campaign Committee volunteers for all their hard work and highlighted the accomplishments of Peggy R. Williams during her 11 years of service as our president.
President Williams concluded the program with a multimedia presentation demonstrating the positive impact the campaign will have on our students and thanking our Los Angeles donors for their support.
