On Thursday, April 10, 2008, approximately 40 Philadelphia-area alumni, parents, and friends gathered at the Independence Seaport Museum to celebrate the success of the Campaign for Ithaca College: Making a World of Difference. After an opening cocktail reception, Philadelphia Regional Campaign Committee member Neil Hartman ’82 welcomed guests and reported that Philadelphia-area donors contributed approximately $1.7 million to the campaign. Shelley Semmler, Ithaca’s vice president for institutional advancement, thanked the Philadelphia Regional Campaign Committee volunteers for all their hard work and highlighted the accomplishments of Peggy R. Williams during her 11 years of service as Ithaca College president. President Williams concluded the program with a multimedia presentation demonstrating the positive impact the campaign will have on our students.
