The new School of Business building continues to make rapid progress and remains on schedule to open for classes in January. Keep an eye on the project’s status by way of a collection of links in several locations on the College website.

Visible from nearly everywhere on South Hill, the new School of Business building is a symbol of a program on the rise. In recent weeks, installation of glass has begun and work has started on the stone exterior. Meanwhile, the School of Business faculty and staff are preparing to occupy their new home. “Our goal is to offer a business education as unique and innovative as the building in which our classes will be taught,” says Dean Susan West Engelkemeyer.

Fund-raising for the new School of Business building – one of our six priorities in the Campaign for Ithaca College – stands at $14 million, leaving $3 million still to be raised. To add your support, please visit the project’s GIVING PAGE. Also, you can keep up with the progress of the building's construction on the SCHOOL OF BUSINESS HOME PAGE by clicking "Watch Our Progress," to view a time-lapse sequence of the building's construction; and "Construction Cam," a feature that snaps a fresh image of the site every 10 minutes. In addition, a website that features the full story of the new building – including floor plans, artists’ renderings, summary of unique design aspects, review of the project’s sustainable philosophy, and a list of dedicated campaign volunteers – is available at BUSINESS BUILDING.
