The graduate programs in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology do not offer a pass/fail grading option for any class or clinical practicum experience. Degree requirements for all programs must be completed within six years of the matriculation date.

These courses may be taken before or after admission into the graduate program. Certification is not automatic but is awarded only to those individuals who have completed an approved teacher education program such as ours, achieved passing scores on required teacher education examinations, and applied for certification from the appropriate state education department. Applications for and additional information about New York State teacher certification may be found at the Ithaca College Center for Teacher Education.
