Registration

Registration forms are available in the printed summer session catalog; or, they may be printed out from the Adobe Acrobat (PDF) versions:

There are three periods of registration, each with a different registration fee and procedure (see below for exact dates).

 

Early Registration

When:

April 1 until two weeks before the session begins

How:

Mail, fax, or in person. Early registration fee: $15.00

 

 
Regular Registration

When:

Two weeks before the session begins through the first day of classes

How:

Mail, fax, or in person. Regular registration fee: $25.00

 

 
Late Registration

When:

After the first day of classes

How:

In person, by permission only. Late registration fee: $50.00

Registering by Mail or Fax

Registration by mail or fax begins April 1 for all courses and workshops. The completed and signed registration form, with payment for the total amount due or the MasterCard/ Visa/Discover authorization (required for faxed registration), should be received by the summer sessions office at least two weeks before classes start. Students who register by mail or fax by the early registration deadline will receive a confirmation notice. Mail your registration to Summer Sessions Office, Ithaca College, 120 Towers Concourse, Ithaca, NY 14850-7141, or fax it to 607-274-1263.

Registering in Person

Ithaca College degree students who are enrolling in on-campus classroom or online courses should register in person at the bursar’s office any business day from April 1 through the first day of each session. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Incoming freshmen, transfer and extramural students, and Ithaca College students who are enrolling in independent studies or internships should register at the summer sessions office.

Extramural students who wish to register in graduate-level courses must obtain the approval of the department’s graduate program chair before they register.

Enrollment in performance study must be approved by the School of Music before a student registers.
