Continuing Professional Education

Conference on Technology in the Humanities:
Application, Innovation, and Imagination
May 24-26
The widespread use of digital technology has exerted a profound influence upon the humanities. Beyond the practical aspects of using technology effectively, humanities teachers and scholars also grapple with the ideological and imaginative complexities made possible by technology. This conference will be an opportunity to present and discuss new ideas on technological practice and pedagogy in the humanities disciplines, as well as the broader issues of the effect of technology upon teaching and research. This conference is sponsored by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and the Ithaca College School of Humanities and Sciences. For the latest information or to register for the conference, visit our website at www.ithaca.edu/htc2004.

A multidisciplinary faculty will conduct seminars on general training techniques and will provide individualized evaluations of strength and fitness. Areas of instruction will include basic concepts of strength training and conditioning, nutrition, injury prevention, and sport psychology for optimal performance. Visit our website.
