In the School of Humanities and Sciences, general elective credit is department specific and may be used to meet distribution requirements. Students may apply up to six course-specific credits of AP (Advanced Placement), IBO (International Baccalaureate), or CLEP (College Level Examination Program) toward their general education requirements. In all schools, scores of 1 or 2 (and in some cases 3) will not be awarded credit. Scores of 3, 4, and 5 are awarded credit as indicated below.
