Accounting

The accounting curriculum prepares students for a range of careers in accounting and serves as an excellent background for graduate studies and law school. Many fine and challenging positions are available in public accounting as well as in private and not-for-profit organizations and with the state or federal government. Students learn to apply theoretical concepts and to use accounting data, along with other analytical measurements, for decision making. The accounting program is registered with the Certified Public Accountancy Board of Examiners of the State of New York.
