Students should aggressively seek out and apply for financial assistance from grant, loan, and private scholarship sources. Students may also access a free Internet scholarship service, FastWeb (www.fastweb.com). In addition to the financial aid programs listed in this catalog, there are many specialized aid programs. A few of these are listed below.

Both New York State and the federal government offer educational grants to Native Americans. For information on the federal program, contact the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, New York Liaison Office, Room 523, 100 South Clinton St., Syracuse, NY 13260, 315-423-5476.

The Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) offers educational opportunities to persons who are disabled or legally blind.
