The Office of International Programs encourages students to enhance their undergraduate program with a summer, semester, or year of international study. Our staff members can assist students in selecting study programs that fulfill their academic needs as well as their personal interests. With careful planning, students in any major can study abroad.
Ithaca College administers its own program in London and sponsors student exchanges with universities in Australia, the Czech Republic, Singapore, and Spain. Students from any major may participate in exchange programs in the Czech Republic and Spain. The Ithaca College London Center offers a variety of courses and a number of internships. Communications majors and minors may be eligible to participate in the Park School's exchange program with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Each year two sport management or sports information and communication majors may participate in an exchange program with Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. The College continues to develop new opportunities for students to study abroad.
Through affiliate arrangements with the Institute for the International Education of Students, the Institute for American Universities, and the School for International Training, students may study various disciplines in many countries around the globe. With the permission of Ithaca College, students may also elect to study abroad with programs sponsored by other accredited American colleges or international institutions.
Students planning to study abroad through an affiliated or nonaffiliated program must have the approval of the Office of International Programs. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 is required for approval to study abroad.
