If you are a first-time Ithaca College student, you may wish to schedule an appointment with an adviser in the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies to discuss your educational plans, course selection, and registration process and to learn about campus resources available to extramural students. The adviser can refer you to the appropriate faculty members or administrators for answers to specific academic questions.

Normally, students in non-degree study register for only one or two courses per semester. If you intend to register for more than two courses, you must schedule an appointment with an adviser in the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies for approval of your course load. You will be advised of additional approvals where necessary.

If your employer provides tuition benefits, obtain a tuition benefit form from your personnel office, fill it out, and get all the necessary signatures. If you are employed at Ithaca College and wish to apply for tuition remission benefits, please refer to the educational benefits brochure available in the Office of Human Resources for deadlines.
