Diane Birr, associate professor of piano at Ithaca College, has collaborated with numerous vocalists and instrumentalists in recitals and master classes in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Norway, Scotland, and throughout the United States. She is frequently featured as a pianist with the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra's Chamber Music Series and has served as an official accompanist for the Music Teachers National Association's national competitions and the International Trombone Workshop. She is the president-elect of the New York State Music Teachers Association and is assistant professor of piano at Ithaca College. |

Jennifer Hayghe has performed in solo recitals and made orchestral appearances throughout the world, including the United States, Europe and Asia. Hayghe received her bachelors, masters degrees, and doctorate degree in piano performance from The Juilliard School. She has also performed as a chamber musician in the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center and has taught chamber music throughout the United States and Central America. |

Deborah Martin is coordinator of the piano institute and associate professor of piano at Ithaca College. She earned degrees in piano performance and pedagogy from Baylor University and Indiana University Bloomington. At Indiana University she studied with Karen Shaw, was awarded the Lieber Distinguished Teaching Award, and coauthored the text Tonal Harmony at the Keyboard. An active teacher of pre-college students and a frequent adjudicator and clinician, she is past president of the New York State Music Teachers Association. |

Phiroze Mehta is professor of piano at Ithaca College. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts and a licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music, London, he has performed as recitalist at universities, at music conventions, and for radio broadcasts. He has given master classes in China, India, Taiwan, and the United States. His students have been winners at the Music Teachers National Association national competition, the Young Keyboard Artists International Piano Competition, and the Bartók-Kabalevsky International Piano Competition. |

John White, assistant professor of music theory at Ithaca College, is at home in the worlds of jazz, classical, and popular music. He holds a doctorate in music theory from Indiana University Bloomington, a master's degree in theory from Ithaca College, and Bachelor's degrees in both piano and composition from the University of Northern Colorado. |

Susan Avery,
associate professor of music education at Ithaca College, was the former director of vocal ensembles and department chair of Waterloo High School for 24 years. She received her BM from the Eastman School of Music, MM from Ithaca College and a PhD from Eastman, where she was awarded the Eastman Graduate Teaching Assistant Prize for excellence in college teaching. Dr. Avery conducts elementary, junior high and senior high honors, All-County and Area All-State Choruses throughout New York State; judges solo vocal and All-State Vocal Jazz as well as choral major organizations for the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA). |
