About The Consortium . . .

The Central New York Communications Consortium is an opportunity for your organization to join dozens of fellow top-notch communications companies as they prospect savvy, entry-level talent from five colleges for jobs and/or internships at the largest industry-specific recruiting event in the nation. The Consortium takes place over a three-day span, but companies have the option of participating in one, two or all three days of this low-cost event.

How it Works

The first day is a Career Fair during where representatives from participating companies can meet and mingle with students. The Fair is followed by a recruiters-only welcome reception.

The second and third days of the CNYCC are interview days: Before the Fair, companies attending the CNYCC submit opportunities (jobs and/or internships), which are then posted on cnycc.experience.com for students to view and apply to before the applications deadline.

All student application materials are then electronically "bundled" and emailed to company representatives for review. After looking over all candidates, representatives select which students they would like to interview on April 12 and 13.

Representatives are not responsible for scheduling or contacting students -we take care of all administrative work!

Rates

• Early-Bird registration: $175 per recruiter per interview day if received by January 16, 2012.

• Post Early-Bird registration: $200 per recruiter per interview day after January 16, 2012.

• Registration- Includes breakfast, lunch, booth space, administrative support AND Career Fair on April 16 (Fair fee waived)

• $100 for a booth at the Career Fair on April 16 ONLY

Hotel, Travel & Next Steps

After registration, employers will receive an email with hotel information and further event details. Employers wishing to participate in the interview days will also receive details on how to post jobs and internships for students to view and apply to (please note that employer information will NOT be visible to students until opportunities are submitted).
